The Founder

I'm Elise — and I have been planning Charleston weddings since 2013.

Ivory & Oak began at a small farm table with a leather planner and a very good pen. Twelve years on, the studio has grown, but the ethos has not: fewer weddings, held with more care.

I believe a wedding should feel like the most tender version of the couple who is throwing it — not a template, not a trend, not a Pinterest board. It should feel like you.

Kind Words

From Our Couples

"

Elise thought of everything — the things we mentioned once, the things we forgot to mention at all. Our wedding felt like our best dinner party, only bigger.

"

We arrived Friday and the entire weekend unfolded around us. I have never felt so cared for. Every vendor she chose was extraordinary.

Margaret & James

October 2024 · The William Aiken House

"

I did not touch my phone once on our wedding day. That, more than anything, is what she gave us — the freedom to just be there.

Frequently Asked

Yes — we plan weddings throughout the Lowcountry and along the coast, from Kiawah and Sullivan's to Beaufort and Savannah. Travel fees apply beyond a 30-mile radius of downtown.

We limit our calendar to eighteen full-service celebrations a year, and typically only one wedding per weekend. This is intentional — it protects the depth of care we give each couple.

For full planning, most couples reach out twelve to eighteen months out. Partial planning six to nine months, and day-of coordination at least three months before your date.

Yes — design is included in Full Planning and available as an add-on for Partial. We create full concept boards, floor plans, floral direction, and paper suites.

Most of our couples invest between $85,000 and $200,000 for their full celebration. We are happy to discuss where you sit on that range during your discovery call.
